A Word From our President
Golden Gourd Alert... The CGS Golden Gourd publication times will be
slightly altered for the next couple issues in order to bring you the
most timely news about important events.
Look for the Spring 2008 issue
to be published the end of April. We want to give you a full report
on the activities that occur at the CGS Gourd College at Asilomar.
The Summer Golden Gourd will be published toward the end of July. You'll
get a full report on happenings at the May Leiser Gourd Festival as
well as the competition results from our annual Gourd Art Competition
and the International Gourd Art Festival at the Welburn Gourd Farm.
Many thanks to Mary Bliss our Golden Gourd editor and her contributors
for keeping us all informed about the gourd happenings around the golden
state of California.
